Bioimpedance body analysis

Segmental bioimpedance body analysis is carried out with the Tanita MC 780 MA body analyzer. This special analyzer includes superior technology with triple frequency scanning.  The Tanita device allows for the evaluation of body fat, muscle and water distribution on each segment, being able to detect intracellular and extracellular water, as well as measure visceral fat.

The analysis is important for setting out actual goals, finding the optimal nutrition solution and for the accurate monitoring of progress.

Resting metabolic rate

Testing the resting metabolic rate through the indirect calorimetry method, using Q-NRG, is a test with high accuracy. It is a non-invasive method which provides precise information related to the necessary caloric intake of each patient.

Weight control and, particularly, weight loss are achieved in different ways from one person to another. There are many factors which influence weight control: food habits, the level of physical activity, sleep quality, alcohol consumption, food quality, the level of hydration etc. But… the first on the list is always the resting metabolic rate!
